The SMCCI Academy’s Protégé Kita 2026 – Mentorship Edition Closing Ceremony, graced by Dr Abdul Malik, President of SMCCI.

After two months of masterclasses and mentorship, five graduands from F&B, photography, marketing and education marked a milestone: Widhi Asmore of Dear Algo Studio, Muhammad Sajjad of Pondok Pantai Timur, Nurjannah Binte Ahmad Redzuan of Purpose Play, Andy Chang of For You Cafe, and Ada Ngoh of Yes We Build.

They began with challenges in growing sales, strengthening marketing, and making data-driven decisions, and concluded with clarity and practical plans.

The ceremony featured a fireside chat, “From Business Journey to Market-Ready,” with Ridjal Noor of Saffrons, Nasyitah Yasson of Kids’ Kits SG, and Lina Liyana Samsi of MakBesar. They shared that mentorship thrives when mentees stay open and follow through, that Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA) can secure better deals, and that marketplace presence needs strong organic and digital marketing.

We thank Haleema from Buttery Fingers, Liana Dwi Puspa from Muhlia Apparels and Qhameira Ani from Sweet Cravingz By Myra Anne for opening their booth and joining us to celebrate the end of Protege Kita.

Congratulations to our graduands and thank you mentors for guiding them! We welcome founders to the next Protégé Kita to grow in SMCCI!
