For many entrepreneurs, growth does not come from having more ideas. It comes from having the right clarity, guidance and support to turn those ideas into action.Â
Through the Protégé Kita Mentorship Programme, participants were paired with experienced mentors who supported them in navigating business challenges, sharpening their direction and building the confidence needed to move forward.Â
Across different industries, the mentorship journey centred on four key areas: gaining clarity and direction for business growth, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, transforming ideas into actionable business strategies, and tapping into the value of mentorship and entrepreneur networks.
From Clarity to ActionÂ
For Nurjannah of Purpose Play, mentorship provided renewed clarity and strategic guidance as she works towards growing her business with sustainability and purpose at its core.Â
Widhi’s journey focused on embracing the entrepreneurial mindset. Through mentorship, he gained the confidence to approach entrepreneurship with renewed purpose and resilience.Â
In the F&B space, Sajjad was guided to strengthen his business foundations and explore opportunities for future expansion. Ada, meanwhile, developed a deeper understanding of her customers and potential growth opportunities, helping her build greater confidence in the direction of her business.
As for Andy Chong, following the mentorship session, he is implementing targeted marketing campaigns, exploring event collaborations and reviewing sales data to optimise its menu and promotions for his cafe.Â
These journeys demonstrate that mentorship is not about giving entrepreneurs all the answers. It is about helping them ask the right questions, see their businesses from a different perspective and make more intentional decisions.Â

Growing Through the Right SupportÂ
Protégé Kita is designed to give entrepreneurs access to the experience, perspectives and networks of mentors who understand the realities of building a business.Â
Whether the next step is refining a strategy, strengthening a business model or preparing for expansion, having the right mentor can provide the clarity and accountability needed to move forward.Â
The programme also reinforces an important principle: entrepreneurs do not have to navigate their growth journey alone.Â
