At the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI), additional efforts are undertaken to spotlight and support Muslim-owned Enterprise (MOE 2.0) certificate holders — not only in F&B, but across diverse sectors and industries. This value-added support is among the key benefits of being MOE-certified with SMCCI.
MOE 2.0 is an enhanced certification programme for Muslim-owned enterprises in Singapore (formerly known as Muslim-Owned Establishment). The certification assures consumers that the business aligns with Islamic principles, adhering to Shariah law and ethical practices. By upholding these standards, MOE 2.0 strengthens consumer trust and confidence, making it easier for customers to recognise and support Muslim-owned businesses, while reinforcing integrity within the marketplace. Importantly, MOE 2.0 applies not only to F&B businesses, but also to Muslim-owned enterprises offering non-F&B products and services across various sectors.
Spotlighting MOE 2.0 certificate holders: Value-add filming initiative
As part of SMCCI’s ongoing efforts to enhance visibility for MOE 2.0 certificate holders, a recent value-add filming initiative was conducted to feature selected businesses and share their stories with the wider community. The latest spotlights include:

The Udang Clan is a family-run diner known for its seafood offerings, including its popular Signature Prawn Noodle, Prawn Dumpling Noodles, and Gong Bao Mala Chicken Noodle.
