INVITATION TO QUOTE (ITQ): Emcee and Performance Services for SMCCI 70th Anniversary & Awards Night 2026
The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) invites your company to submit a quotation for the provision of emcee and/or performance services for the SMCCI 70th Anniversary & Awards Night 2026.
This milestone event will commemorate SMCCI’s 70 years of service to the business community and recognise the achievements and contributions of outstanding entrepreneurs, businesses and industry partners. The Guest of Honour will be President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore.

Vendors may submit a quotation for either emcee services, performance services, or both.
Scope A: Emcee Services
The appointed emcee will be expected to:
- Host the event professionally in accordance with the approved programme and protocol;
- Conduct the event primarily in English, with the ability to incorporate Malay where appropriate;
- Attend programme briefings, rehearsals and sound checks;
- Work closely with SMCCI, the event organiser and production team;
- Manage transitions between speeches, award presentations, performances and other programme segments;
- Observe the appropriate protocol and decorum required for an event attended by the President of the Republic of Singapore;
- Review and familiarise themselves with the approved emcee script; and
- Remain available throughout the required event and rehearsal period.
The quotation should indicate whether scriptwriting, script refinement or programme consultation is included.
Scope B: Performance Services
SMCCI welcomes proposals for suitable performances that reflect the significance and celebratory nature of its 70th anniversary. These may include live music, cultural presentations, instrumental performances, vocal performances or other appropriate entertainment concepts.
The appointed performer or group will be expected to:
- Present a performance suitable for a formal corporate gala and awards ceremony;
- Propose the performance concept, duration, repertoire and number of performers;
- Attend the required rehearsal, sound check and technical briefing;
- Coordinate all technical and staging requirements with the production team;
- Ensure that all performance materials and content are appropriate for the event and audience; and
- Obtain the necessary permissions, licences and clearances for the performance materials used.
Quotation Requirements
Please include the following information in your submission:
- Company or artiste profile and relevant experience;
- Proposed emcee or performer profile;
- Description of the proposed services or performance concept;
- Breakdown of professional fees and other charges;
- Number and duration of performance segments, where applicable;
- Technical, staging, audio-visual and hospitality requirements;
- Availability for rehearsals and sound checks;
- Overtime rates and cancellation or postponement terms;
- Validity period of the quotation;
- GST status and total amount inclusive of GST, where applicable; and
- Links to relevant showreels, portfolios or previous event recordings.
The quotation should clearly state all costs, including transport, manpower, equipment, rehearsals, costumes, instruments and any other related expenses. Any items not included in the quoted fee should be identified separately.

SMCCI reserves the right to seek clarification, negotiate the proposed scope and fees, shortlist selected vendors, or accept or reject any quotation without assigning any reason. The issuance of this invitation does not constitute a commitment by SMCCI to appoint any vendor or reimburse any cost incurred in preparing the submission.

INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL: SALE OF SMCCI PROPERTY AT JALAN PINANG
The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI) is exploring the potential sale of its property located at 15 Jalan Pinang.
As part of our governance and due diligence process, we are inviting up to three licensed agents to submit proposals for the marketing and sale representation of this property.
Your proposal should include:
1. Indicative valuation and expected sale range;
2. Proposed marketing strategy and outreach plan;
3. Estimated sale timeline; and
4. Commission structure and any co-broking terms.

CALL FOR TRAINERS: PROVISION OF TRAINING SERVICES FOR SMCCI ACADEMY
The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI) invites experienced trainers, facilitators, and industry experts to be part of our growing network of trainers under SMCCI Academy.
SMCCI Academy delivers programmes aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, SMEs, and aspiring business owners through practical learning and skills development. We are seeking qualified individuals and organisations to deliver training modules relevant to business and entrepreneurship.

Trainer Requirements
Applicants should have:
– Proven experience in training, facilitation, or consultancy (preferably with SMEs or entrepreneurs).
– Relevant industry expertise and/or academic background.
– Strong communication and engagement skills.
– Ability to customise content to suit adult learners and SME realities.
– (Optional) ACTA/ACLPT/ACLP or equivalent adult education certification.

– Trainer Profile / CV (including qualifications, experience, and training background).
– List of Proposed Modules or Topics (with brief description and learning outcomes).
– Quotation / Rate Card (hourly or per-session rate).
