Hands-on learning kits and play-based resources developed by Kids’ Kits SG.

What started as a simple idea — creating meaningful learning materials for children — has grown into something much bigger.

Founded by NasyitahKids’ Kits SG is built on a clear belief: children learn best through play, curiosity, and meaningful experiences. Today, the business offers curated learning kits, small group programmes, one-to-one enrichment, and workshops designed to support children’s development in a holistic way.

At its core, the work remains hands-on. Many of the learning resources are still personally designed by Nasyitah, drawing from her experience as an early childhood educator. Every activity is created with intention: to engage, to nurture, and to make learning enjoyable.

Evolving with Families’ Needs

In the early days, most customers were parents purchasing learning kits.

Over time, this shifted. Today, Kids’ Kits SG works with parents, preschools, and community groups. The demand has also evolved, Families are now looking for more than products. They want meaningful learning experiences for their children.

In response, the business expanded into programmes and workshops that focus on character development, social-emotional learning, and strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. Parents are also closely involved, especially in one-to-one sessions, creating a strong learning partnership that continues beyond each class.

The Moments That Matter Most

For Nasyitah, success is not just about growth. It is about impact.

Some of the most meaningful moments come from seeing children transform. A child who once struggled with reading becoming confident within months. Another who overcame separation anxiety and returned excited for sessions.

These changes are made possible through consistent support, strong collaboration with parents, and a play-based approach that keeps children engaged. When children enjoy learning, progress becomes natural and lasting.

From Passion to Clarity

Nasyitah (second from right) during a session at Protégé Kita 2024.

Like many founders, Nasyitah started with passion. But building a sustainable business required more than that.

Before joining Protégé Kita, one of her biggest challenges was structuring the business — from pricing to positioning and long-term direction.

Through the programme, she gained clarity. She began to approach the business with more intention. She also learned to recognise the value of her work and price it accordingly — an important shift for many in the education space.

Today, she makes decisions with greater confidence, focusing on what truly creates value and impact.

Staying Grounded While Growing

Running a home-based business requires discipline. Simple systems like planning ahead, batching work, and clear communication have helped keep operations smooth.

But beyond systems, what keeps Nasyitah going is her sense of purpose.

Guided by faith, family, and the idea of amal jariah, she believes that meaningful work — especially in educating children — creates impact that goes beyond the present.

What’s Next

Looking ahead, the focus is on growing sustainably.

This includes refining programmes, improving learning kits, and building stronger collaborations with families and educational communities. The goal is not just to grow bigger, but to grow with purpose — while staying true to joyful, play-based learning.

A Message for Aspiring Founders

Nasyitah’s journey is a reminder that growth does not always come from doing more — but from doing what matters better.

“Sometimes the smallest ideas, created with sincerity and purpose, can grow into something that touches many lives.”
