SMCCI is taking a meaningful step forward in supporting businesses for the future, as we deepen our collaboration with SGTech under the AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative.

Through this partnership, SMCCI aims to support up to 60 businesses on their AI adoption journey, providing hands-on guidance to help them better understand and apply AI in practical ways. At the same time, 10 Digital Champions will be appointed to lead by example — inspiring more Malay/Muslim businesses to embrace digital transformation with confidence.

This collaboration reflects a shared understanding that building AI capability is not a journey businesses should take alone. With SGTech’s expertise as Singapore’s largest technology association, SMCCI is better positioned to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and everyday business needs, ensuring that our community of SMEs can adopt AI in a meaningful and accessible way.

At the heart of this effort is a simple but powerful belief often emphasised by SMCCI President Abdul Malik Hassan — that in today’s business landscape, success is no longer about “I”, but “we”. Collaboration remains key, and this partnership embodies that spirit.

Looking ahead, SMCCI is also preparing to roll out its upcoming Digital and Business Transformation project, guided by Fazli Mansor and Mustaffa Kamal. This initiative will place a strong focus on supporting SMEs — particularly heritage and family-run businesses — to adapt, grow, and remain competitive in an increasingly digital economy.

As we continue to strengthen partnerships and build capabilities, SMCCI remains committed to empowering businesses with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive in the next phase of growth.

A big thank you to SGTech for their trust and partnership in this journey.
