SMCCI Membership team visiting Satay Bosque and Sa-Tay & Co during a recent walkabout.

At SMCCI, supporting members goes beyond programmes and platforms. It is about being present, understanding each business journey, and walking alongside members as they grow.

Recently, SMCCI Membership team was on the ground engaging businesses across different stages of growth — from new outlet openings to one of the region’s largest industry exhibitions.

Celebrating Growth at Satay Bosque

The team visited Satay Bosque at Alkaff Crescent to mark the opening of its latest outlet.

Satay Bosque keeps its offering clear and focused — serving Indonesian-style satay and familiar dishes done well, with flavours that resonate with customers.

Opening a new outlet is more than just expanding space. It signals growth, demand, momentum, and readiness for the next phase.

As the business continues to grow, SMCCI looks forward to supporting Satay Bosque by strengthening its visibility, connecting it with relevant partners, and opening doors to new opportunities.

Building for the Next Phase

The team also met with Sa-Tay & Co Pte Ltd at Newton Food Centre, where they caught up with its founder, Mr Rafie.

Today, the business operates two outlets alongside a central kitchen, providing a strong foundation for its growing ambitions. Beyond retail, Sa-Tay & Co is expanding into supplying satay to shops and stalls, while also venturing into catering services with a broader menu prepared through its central kitchen.

Mr Rafie also shared his forward-looking vision for the business, including plans to explore the China market by supplying halal satay to F&B companies. This could significantly expand the company’s reach and revenue potential.

Through SMCCI, Sa-Tay & Co hopes to strengthen its network and explore collaborations, particularly in marketing and promotional efforts to support its next stage of growth.

Engaging Members at FHA 2026

The Membership team was also on the ground at Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026, held at Singapore Expo from 21–24 April.

The event brought together over 80,000 global attendees and 2,750 exhibitors across 18 specialised segments, offering a dynamic platform for businesses in the food and hospitality space.

During the visit, the team connected with SMCCI members showcasing their offerings, including Rational Cooking Systems Pte Ltd, Suvai Foods, and Radha Exports.

These conversations provided valuable insights into members’ business goals, market reception, and opportunities to engage a diverse international audience.

Supporting Every Stage of Growth

From neighbourhood outlets to global exhibitions, each business journey looks different. What remains consistent is the need for support, connections, and opportunities.

SMCCI remains committed to strengthening members’ growth by enhancing visibility, fostering meaningful connections, and identifying pathways for expansion.

Whether it is a new opening or a step into international markets, SMCCI continues to support members at every stage of their growth journey.

Be Part of the Community

Businesses that are building for their next phase are invited to be part of the SMCCI community.
