CALL FOR TENDER: EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

SMCCI 70TH ANNIVERSARY & AWARDS NIGHT 2026

1.⁠ ⁠Introduction
The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) invites experienced event management companies to submit proposals to support the planning and execution of the SMCCI 70th Anniversary & Awards Night 2026.

The intent of this engagement is to appoint a reliable and cost-effective event partner to manage logistics, coordination, and production, ensuring a smooth and well-executed gala dinner and awards ceremony.

2.⁠ ⁠Event Overview

Event Objectives:
•⁠ ⁠Celebrate 70 years of SMCCI and recognise outstanding achievements within the Malay/Muslim business community
•⁠ ⁠Strengthen engagement with members, partners, and sponsors

Event Details:
Expected Attendance: 300–500 pax
Event Format: Gala dinner with awards presentation

Tentative Event Date: Friday, 23 October 2026
Venue: To be proposed and sourced by vendor (subject to SMCCI approval)

3.⁠ ⁠Scope of Work

The appointed vendor shall support planning, coordination, and on-site execution, focusing on logistics and production rather than programme ownership.

A. Event Planning & Coordination

Overall project coordination and timeline management
Development of event operations schedule and run-of-show (based on SMCCI’s programme flow)
Coordination with SMCCI, venue, and appointed suppliers
On-site coordination on event day

B. Venue Sourcing & Management

Recommend suitable venue options (e.g. hotels, ballrooms, convention spaces)
Assist with venue negotiations and booking coordination
Manage event layout planning including:
Table layout
Stage positioning
Guest flow and logistics

C. Stage, AV & Technical Production

Stage setup and basic production management
Audio-visual support (sound, lighting, LED screen where required)
Coordination of presentation slides and award visuals provided by SMCCI
On-site technical support during the event

D. Pre-Event Guest Registration Support

Support pre-event registration and RSVP tracking
Provide guest list consolidation and attendance reporting
Registration system or tools (if applicable)

Note: On-site guest registration, seating management, and VIP handling will be managed by SMCCI.

E. Vendor & Logistics Coordination

Liaison with venue on F&B coordination
Coordination of event-related logistics such as:
Trophies
Door gifts
Backstage and event-day logistics support

4.⁠ ⁠Revenue-Related Activities

SMCCI will retain full responsibility for:
Table sales
Sponsorship sales
Award categories and branding decisions

The vendor is expected to support coordination by:
Advising on branding placement requirements
Supporting technical execution of approved sponsor deliverables

5.⁠ ⁠Proposal Requirements

Vendors are requested to submit the following:

A. Company Profile

Company background and relevant experience
Past projects related to gala dinners or awards events
Key project personnel

B. Proposed Approach

Overall approach to event coordination and execution
Suggested venue options
Technical and logistics plan

C. Cost Breakdown

Please provide clear and itemised pricing, including:
Project management and coordination fees
Venue and estimated F&B costs (if applicable)
Stage and AV
Registration support
Optional add-on services (separately priced)

D. Project Timeline

Key pre-event milestones
Setup and event-day schedule

6.⁠ ⁠Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be assessed based on:
Relevant experience and past work (30%)
Practicality and clarity of approach (25%)
Cost competitiveness and transparency (30%)
Project team capability (15%)

INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL: SALE OF SMCCI PROPERTY AT JALAN PINANG

The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI) is exploring the potential sale of its property located at 15 Jalan Pinang.

As part of our governance and due diligence process, we are inviting up to three licensed agents to submit proposals for the marketing and sale representation of this property.

Your proposal should include:

1.⁠ ⁠Indicative valuation and expected sale range;

2.⁠ ⁠Proposed marketing strategy and outreach plan;

3.⁠ ⁠Estimated sale timeline; and

4.⁠ ⁠Commission structure and any co-broking terms.

CALL FOR TENDER: PROVISION OF SNACKS AND LUNCH FOR TRAINING MODULES - DUA PROJECT

Scope of Work
The appointed vendor is required to:
– Provide snacks and lunch/dinner as per the above schedule.
– Ensure all food served is Halal-certified and/or Muslim-Owned Enterprise Certified by SMCCI
– Provide complete setup (e.g. serving table, disposable utensils, beverages).
– Deliver food punctually and maintain quality and hygiene standards.
– Include menu options and per-pax pricing in the quotation.

Submission Requirements
Interested vendors are to submit their proposals including:
– Company profile and catering license details
– Quotation (inclusive of GST, delivery, and setup).
– Sample menu for snacks and lunch/dinner.

The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI) invites experienced trainers, facilitators, and industry experts to be part of our growing network of trainers under SMCCI Academy.

SMCCI Academy delivers programmes aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, SMEs, and aspiring business owners through practical learning and skills development. We are seeking qualified individuals and organisations to deliver training modules relevant to business and entrepreneurship.

Scope of Training Areas

We welcome proposals and expertise in the following areas (but not limited to):

Trainer Requirements

Applicants should have:
– Proven experience in training, facilitation, or consultancy (preferably with SMEs or entrepreneurs).
– Relevant industry expertise and/or academic background.
– Strong communication and engagement skills.
– Ability to customise content to suit adult learners and SME realities.
– (Optional) ACTA/ACLPT/ACLP or equivalent adult education certification.

– List of Proposed Modules or Topics (with brief description and learning outcomes).
– Quotation / Rate Card (hourly or per-session rate).
