Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and a very good morning.
It is a pleasure to welcome all of you to the closing ceremony of the Protégé Kita 2026 Mentorship Edition.
First, I would like to congratulate all our participants for making it to the end of this journey. Running a business while committing yourself to a mentorship programme is not always easy. It takes time, effort and resilience to continue learning while managing the everyday challenges of being a business owner.
That is also why Protégé Kita was designed to go beyond the classroom. Through this programme, we wanted to connect business owners directly with experienced entrepreneurs who understand the realities of running a business.
Participants were paired one-to-one with mentors based on their industries and business needs. Through these conversations, they were able to discuss their challenges openly, gain a different perspective and identify practical steps they could take for their businesses.
Across the mentorship journey, we focused on four key areas: gaining clarity and direction for growth, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, turning ideas into practical strategies, and recognising the importance of mentorship and business networks.
We have seen these key areas come through clearly in the progress made by our participants, including Nurjannah, Widhi, Sajjad, Ada and Andy, as they put their learning into practice and take meaningful steps forward in their businesses.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our trainers and mentors. Your willingness to share your experience, knowledge and time has been an important part of this programme.
To our participants, we hope that what you have gained from Protégé Kita will continue to help your businesses grow, in one way or another. Continue applying what you have learnt, stay connected with the people you have met here, and do not be afraid to seek guidance when you need it.
Because one of the most important messages behind Protégé Kita is this: entrepreneurs do not have to navigate their growth journey alone. Hand in hand, we can support one another.
And with that, Thank you, and Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
