What is Certificate of Origin?

A Certificate of Origin (CO) is a document that can be used to satisfy your buyers that the products exported are wholly obtained, produced or manufactured in Singapore, depending on the Rules of Origin.

CO’s are not only issued for locally manufactured or processed products, but also for products from other countries which are re-exported from Singapore. However, we do not issue COs for the export of Singapore-origin textiles and textile products to EU and USA.

Members who apply for CO’s through SMCCI will enjoy concessionary rates while seeking endorsements for their products.
